Vigna STEINRAFFLER Lagrein DOC 2019 – Hofstätter

This wine is native to South Tyrol and is now appreciated all over the world. In Alto Adige, only the “Vigna” denomination guarantees the origin of a wine from a specific vineyard.
Dense and pleasantly typified, it reveals itself to the taster with elegance. It has a deep garnet-red color.
The olfactory bouquet combines earthy-mineral and fruity aromas. The fruity component remains almost hidden at first, then, in the glass, develops into a crescendo of ripe black plum aromas.
The palate highlights its fruity and mineral aromatic components.

In the cellar, after a short maceration, the must ferments with the skins for about ten days. Passage in oak barrels for 15 months followed by 7 months in oak tuns after blending and finally a minimum of 12 months maturing in the bottle.

Delivered by 6 in a wooden box.
