After ten years of maturation on its own yeast, in 500-liter barrels, the Gewürztraminer develops a great intensity without losing its freshness. The yeasts give the wine aromas of toast, medlar, honey and dried fruit.
With the aging on lees for 10 years, the residual sugar of the wine gives way to a more intense minerality.
The Gewürztraminer Pirschschrait explodes in a game of flavors. The Gewürztraminer from the Pirchschrait vineyard, a parcel of the Kolbenhof farm, is a tribute to Konrad Oberhofer.
Only the name “Vigna” in South Tyrol guarantees the origin of a wine from a specific vineyard.
