Cantina Rosa Del Golfo

The Calò estates were founded two centuries ago in the Salento region, where Leopoldo Calò owned a small farm producing grapes and olives.

In 1963, when his son Mino joined the company, Rosa del Golfo developed a Salento rosé wine that quickly became so famous that it was taken over as the name of the company itself in 1988.

The grape varieties used are Negroamaro and Malvasia, both from the Salento region: the former gives body and character, the latter sweetness and a superb bouquet.

The philosophy behind Rosa del Golfo, especially in commercial terms, is focused on highlighting the “typical” character of the agricultural products of the Salento region.
