Boccella

In 1961 Giuseppe Boccella was forced to emigrate to Venezuela for professional reasons. It was in South America that he managed to accumulate some savings that he decided to invest in the purchase of a small plot of land in his native place: Castelfranci, in the province of Avellino, in the south of Italy. It was on this land that he decided not only to build his house, but also to cultivate his passion for viticulture, planting the Aglianico vine at the beginning of the second half of the twentieth century.

Giuseppe Boccella was thus able to spend the last years of his life passing on his dedication to viticulture to the people he loved the most, his children.

Raffaele and Angela, Giovanni and Lucia, two brothers and two sisters, passionate about viticulture and the land thanks to the teachings and heritage received from their parents, decided in 2005 to turn their passion into work, to make their wine known. Produced for years and years for themselves and their friends, the Boccella’s Aglianico is now ready for a wider public, a wine appreciated and loved for its strong veracity and for being a “natural” wine, as the organic certification proudly displays.
