I Due Ricu Langhe DOC Rosso 2023 – Marziano Abbona

Made from an original blend of Nebbiolo, Barbera—in a higher percentage—and a small portion of Pinot
Nero, Due Ricu has a very intense, deep colour from the Barbera. The nose is clearly dominated by notes of ripe red fruits.
On the nose, ripe red fruits and a light touch of spice from oak ageing predominate.
But it is on the palate that this wine offers its best, with a wide range of flavours,
starting with the fruitiness of Barbera and the elegance
of Pinot Noir, ending with the more structured, more tannic side of
Nebbiolo. A wine that pairs well with red meats and cheeses,
to be enjoyed both in its youth and as it develops after 4–5 years.
