Grappa Pinot Nero Single Cask – Villa de Varda

The Single Cask grappas are different from the other Villa de Varda lines because they are special: the best barrel for this Grappa di Pinot Nero Riserva.
Single Cask grappas are made from a single oak barrel, which has matured in a unique and special way. We only get 370 bottles per barrel and they are numbered and hand signed by the Master Distiller to certify their high quality.

VISUAL EXAMINATION: intense amber, with golden reflections.
BOUQUET: very persistent, aristocratic, frank, with a noble finesse and intensity, warm, with a wonderful fruity concert of marasca cherries, blackcurrant and very ripe red fruits, pleasantly characterized by floral and toasted nuances.
TASTE: delicate and sweet, ample, round, balanced, rich, harmonious, softened by the scent of very ripe red fruits and by floral and toasted notes, the sweet notes melt with great authority and persistence.
